So Profound....And Other Random Thoughts

I have been looking and looking for Elder Bednar's talk that he gave at the CES fireside on Sunday and I found it!! It is so amazingly profound. I can't stop listening to it! If you wanna watch it you can go here Besides that nothing else is new. We are so boring! I have just been working on my calling. I'm the new Visiting Teaching Coordinator for our ward. It's actually pretty interesting to see how the VT program works. I never knew or even realized how much work goes into it. I am enjoying it though, and it will definitely help me to get to know all of the sisters and their families. Which will be awesome because we could really use new friends! We miss being able to go out and just socialize and go to other friends house's and have parties!! So yeah, that is all that's going on with us right now. The weather here is so unbelievably hot now. It's already in the 100's! I wish we had a pool :P It's all good though! Oh and I have challenged myself to read the Book Of Mormon again! I figured since I have so much time on my hands, I could read it pretty fast! I am way excited to start! I know it will make a difference on how I feel each day. Anyone that wants to take up the challenge with me, feel free! That would be fun!

I Will Remember Him

On this Sacred Easter I wanted to post a serious post also. About my Savior Jesus Christ, and let you all know that I believe that he died for us. I know that he died for us and it is of great comfort to me, to know that through the Atonement we can return to Him and our Loving Father. He has felt all the mortal things we go through and will go through in this life, and it is so comforting to know that I am not alone. We are not alone. We have someone that has been here also, and that is Christ. He knows exactly how we feel and knows exactly what we are going through in Mortality. And to know that, gives me great hope and lifts me up. I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for sending his Son down to Earth, to die for us so that we may live with Him again. I want to share a video with you that the Church made. It is by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, and it is amazing. The talk is called None Were With Him. It is especially appropriate on this day. The video is very touching and really made me think about how blessed I am to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. And to have the knowledge of the Gospel and the blessings in our lives. I am so grateful for my Savior who lived and died for us. I love this Gospel immensely! I hope you enjoy this video and that it strengthens your Testimony as it has mine. May you have a sweet and wonderful Easter! Know that you are loved! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpFhS0dAduc

I Can't Stop Laughing!!

Ok...One of my friends on facebook posted this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh9Mko23JeA and I have been watching it over and over. I know I'm such a dork and it probably isn't that funny to some people, but if feels good to laugh hard every once in a while. I laughed so hard I cried! I hope you all enjoy it, and get a good laugh. Because laughing makes our lives lighter and happier!

Mmmm Homemade Bread!!

So my wonderful parents bought us a new bread machine for our anniversary!! I have been wanting one for so long and I am so excited I got it! We will never buy store bought bread again. It doesn't even compare to homemade! In fact, I have a request from Paul's co-workers to make some for them, because I made him a sandwich for his lunch and they were drooling over it! I love the smell of it baking, and how it fills the house with a wonderful aroma. There is nothing like homemade bread! Thanks Mom and Dad for such a wonderful gift!! We are putting it too good use!

Pics From Home

So went home last week and went and saw the lights! I have been wanting to put some pictures up from it. So here they are! We had a great time! They are kinda dark because we forgot the digital camera, so we had to use our cell phone, but they still turned out cute I think! I hope you enjoy them!
